The company anniversary of BELX Bio-Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. was held on May 5, 2017 at Meeting Room 3A, Building 51, Chung-Hsing Campus, Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). About 70 participants attended, among them including representatives of 10 bio-pharmaceutical/biotech startup companies related to ITRI. Speeches were delivered by Academician Pei-Jer Chen of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Board Ching-Yen Tsai of TIEF Fund, L.P., President Jong-Min Liu of ITRI, and General Director Jia-Min Liu of Commercialization and Industry Service Center of ITRI.

The speech guests encouraged us:

1. To keep firmly in mind “Innovation, Quality, Discovery, and Law”, which is the maxim for new drug development, so that the valuable botanical new drugs could be developed, to benefit mankind;

2. Abiding by the Silicon Valley Spirit, whose essence is “To improve the industrial environment and then to invest on younger generations”; and to commercialize successfully the botanical new drug BEL-X and be endeavoring continually in innovation;

3. To make BEL-X a drug able to be used in combination with current standard therapeutic drugs, creating synergy, leading to greater value ever imagined
